Current windows version is build Windows defender updates seem to have no issues completely downloading as well as installing, but once cumulative update kb begins it remains stuck in limbo.
Im hoping these update difficulties are whats causing such sluggish performance from the laptop but also doubtful. Is it normal for these to take almost an hour to begin their processes? I ran chkdsk to see if thats having issues as well and surprisingly to me, it ran perfectly fine and reported no problems. Im by no means an expert with computers but Id like to believe Im capable of getting this figured out with some help. Microsoft tech support is useless their only suggestion is to reinstall which I refuse to do as Ive done it multiple times already on this laptop and the problem of sluggishness persists.
